Burk Uzzle <\/span>at the age of 23 became the youngest contract photographer for Life magazine, and five years later he joined the legendary agency Magnum Photos. During his fifteen years as a Magnum member, he served two terms as president. His photographs have appeared in numerous magazines worldwide, including Life, Newsweek, Fortune, and the New York Times Magazine. His work has been widely exhibited in the United States and Europe, and is represented in many private and museum collections, including the Biblioth\u00e8que Nationale, Paris, France; the Art Institute of Chicago; the Library of Congress; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Metropolitan Museum of Art; and the Smithsonian Institution.<\/p>\n
